One very popular brewing method is done in a drip brewer. Everyone has used or still uses an electric drip coffee machine at home, school or work. This method is similar to pour-over, however most of the work is done for you by the brewer. This is an effective and easy way to get a tasty cup of coffee.
Making the right Drip Coffee requires: the right equipment, coffee grind size, water temperature, coffee amount and right brewing time.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Water (¾ Liter)
Coffee 45 g (Medium Grind)
BREWING TIME: 6-10 Minutes
SERVING SIZE: 3 - 4
LET’S GET STARTED:
Using the digital scale, weigh your coffee. For this specific brewing method we recommend keeping a 1:17 ratio. This means that for every 45 grams of coffee to 750 grams of water.
Start the process by placing the filter inside the coffee basket (tip: damp all corners with hot water this will eliminate any paper residue and order. Discard the hot water and place the coffee into the filter inside the basket.)
Give the coffee basket a little shake in order to distribute the coffee evenly across the flat bottom. Now place the basket back into your drip machine.
Separately, measure the water (750 g) before pouring it into the coffee machine.
Pour measured water into the drip coffee brewer.
That is it!
Just press Start and wait for the coffee to finish brewing.
Pour Coffee into a mug, Enjoy!
